Our range of colourful wooden stars are designed to be hung from doors as a wreath or used as a wall decoration to brighten up any room.

For this star we use the particularly striking shou sugi ban method, originating in 18th century Japan, of preserving wood by charring it with fire, giving it a beautiful dark finish that highlights the wood grain. The centre of the star is then hand painted with a neon pink highlight.

Tactile and beautiful, this is an eco-friendly alternative to a door wreath that can be used again and again. It would also be a great addition to a gallery wall or placed on a mantel piece, so you can enjoy it all year round or for Christmas with a twist.

These stars are handmade to order in our workshop in Surrey and are usually dispatched within one week.

Our stars measure 48cm x 48cm and are made from FSC certified sustainably harvested wood. Each includes a hook on the reverse for easy hanging.
